Description: ABOUT OUR CLIENT- Large Oil & Gas Services Company - Located in North HoustonJOB SUMMARYThe Document Control Specialist / Buzzsaw Site Administrator will act as project document control support for Project Document Control Leads and configure and maintain the use of an Autodesk Buzzsaw Professional site for online project collaboration application, coordination, and documentation of drawings and documents, internal and external to our client. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- 5 to 7 years experience in document control, specific to the EPC industry- Proficient with the following tools: * Autodesk Buzzsaw * Autodesk Productstream * SharePoint * Word* ExcelPREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Complete project level document control experience in all facets of the position, with an emphasis on project close-out and data book compilation- Strong technical knowledge of electronic document management systems with proven experienceREQUIRED FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet aggressive deadlines- Ability to read and understand regulations, standards, and procedures- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills- Professional grade verbal and written communication skills- Customer service approach to all work is top priorityJOB DUTIES- 60% database support, 40% document control - Manage set-up for all users in the Buzzsaw system- Manage the rights for usage- Help develop the configuration of the system for new projects and administration - Develop and publish ad-hoc reports- Develop and execute data archiving procedures- Update project templates and communicate changes- Keep the user base informed of product updates- Develop and implement workflow-based business processes, to be managed within the application- End user technical support / troubleshooting for internal and external users of the system- Assist with determining charge codes for all software charges to locations and departments- Assist Project Document Control Leads with daily management of documentation responsibilities, including (but not limited to): * Data Entry * Document Register Maintenance * Transmittal Generation * Archiving * Data Book Compilation * Assist in procedural development * Some document expediting will be required EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- Associates Degree in information management, computer science, computer information systems, or business information preferredJOB TYPE- Direct hire - Start date: 03/22/10PAY & BENEFITS- Up to $50,000, depending on experience- Full company benefits
